Mold Making

Mold making is the first step of many in the long process of creating an exact replica of any original sculpture in bronze.

Wax Work

The completed molds, having been prepped and cleaned, are now ready for wax.

Casting

Once the sprue system is installed, the wax casting is dipped in a silica slurry to create a ceramic shell.

OUR STORY OF BRONZE EXCELLENCE

Keeble Metal Works is a full service art foundry dedicated to producing the highest quality bronze castings. KMW is helmed by Graham Keeble, a 2007 graduate of School Of the Art Institute Chicago and life long welder, sculptor and expert craftsman.

For more than a decade, until the pandemic brought everything to screeching halt, Keeble was the shop foremen and manager of Sierra Sculpture the private bronze foundry of world renowned wildlife sculptor and Whitehouse artist Douglas Van Howd. Throughout that time Keeble was responsible for producing immaculate works of art for Van Howd that can be seen in private collections, at universities, airports, museums, and even the California state capitol building.
